Provider Directory API

Provides access to bulk provider directory data for a specific directory ID, giving clients greater control over when and how provider data is requested and retrieved.

Using a simple three-step request, status, and retrieve process, clients can pull either Full or Add/Change/Termination (ACT) provider directory files on a schedule that fits their needs. This replaces manually delivered UDF/PDDF extracts with near real-time JSON files and supports more automated, scalable provider directory workflows.

Claritev’s Provider Directory API is a collection of HTTPS RPC-style methods that support a simple three-step process:

1. Request: Submit a request for a Full or ACT provider directory for a specific directory ID.
2. Status: Check whether the directory request has completed and identify which files are available.
3. Retrieve: Download the resulting JSON provider directory file or files, segmented by network and provider type.

Authentication is required when accessing Claritev’s Provider Directory API.

Clients authenticate by passing a valid API key in the request header. Claritev technical support provides the API key as a long-term credential, along with the organization’s unique directory ID.
