The API enables real-time access to payment integrity editing logic, edit results, decision outputs, supporting edit details, and workflow outcomes through seamless system-to-system integration.
By delivering timely, accurate editing capabilities directly into existing platforms and workflows, the API can help Claritev clients automate manual processes, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen workflow analytics. It also supports faster implementation, broader integration flexibility, and greater visibility across the editing lifecycle for operational, reporting, and workflow management applications.
A scope is a permission value carried in an OAuth 2.0 access token that tells an API what actions the calling client is authorized to perform.
The client requests one or more approved scopes when obtaining an access token. The Identity Provider (OCI IAM Domain / IDCS) validates the request and issues a token containing the authorized scopes. The API platform, API Gateway, or downstream service then uses these scopes to allow or deny access to protected resources.
In simple terms, a scope acts like a permission label embedded in the token. It defines the boundaries of what the client can do after authentication.
